Your Oktoberfest Gay Days journey begins with your arrival in the Alpine capitals of Europe. This unique trip acts like a cruise on land as you will unpack just a single time and enjoy ‘Hub & Spoke Sightseeing’ across 5 Alpine countries. This incredible mountain village has hosted the alpine events for the Winter Olympics on two occasions. You will feel you are in a movie set as Seefeld’s mountain was the opening scene for Julie Andrews’s movie ‘The Sound Of Music.’ Your tour will show you all the unique sites of this Alpine jewel. This afternoon you can participate in an excursion to Innsbruck and the Alpine capital of Europe.
Day 4: Salzburg & ‘The Sound Of Music’
Breakfast is included this morning. You have a wonderful day for your own pursuits. If you choose you can Head East today as you travel across the Austrian Alps on an optional excursion to the magical city of Salzburg. This was the famous city for the filming of ‘The Sound Of Music’ and you will see the many sites including the lake, the avenue where the children climbed the trees and the famous Abbey made famous by Julie Andrews. The incredible vista’s will be 360 degrees all around you. It will be a magical day.
Day 5: Liechtenstein & Switzerland
Breakfast is included this morning. Today head West across the Austrian Alps and be your first of two countries today. Liechtenstein is one of the world’s smallest independent nations. Visit the capital of Vaduz. Here you will learn how a small republic thrives in Europe. Next you continue across the border to fabled Switzerland. See the breathtaking Bodensee, a lake that is part of the Alps formation of the Rhine river. You will sample chocolates and much more. Return to Austria in the late afternoon of wonderful sightseeing.
Day 6: Alpine Lake Achen & Historic Alpine Villages
Breakfast is included this morning. You have a full day to enjoy the resort features of Seefeld including sports and mountain pursuits. You may choose an excursion to the most famous mountain lake in Austria called Lake Achen. Here enjoy a ride on a historic sightseeing boat with high-peak mountain tops surrounding you. Your day is filled with visits to some of the most beautiful villages in Alpine Europe including Austria’s Stan, home to the famous palace, and to Germany’s Mittenwald, one of Europe’s most charming villages full of shops, outdoor cafes, and more. Later return to Seefeld in time for dinner included at the hotel.
Day 7: Bolzano, Italy & The Dolomites
Breakfast is included this morning. A wonderful journey and your first crossing the border South to Italy. You venture deep into the Italian Alps and ‘The Dolomites’. You will enjoy the Italian feel and style of the world-famous Bolzano. Here the Winter Olympics have also been hosted and the magnificent vista’s all around you will never be forgotten. Return to Seefeld late this afternoon.
Day 8: Disney’s ‘Fairytale Castles’ Of Neuschwanstein & Linderhof
Breakfast is included this morning. Another day to enjoy your beautiful Austrian resort. You may want to join this excursion to Bavaria. Perhaps the world’s most famous memory of Alpine Europe is manmade. The Bavarian King Ludwig was known as ‘Mad King Ludwig’ for the extravagance of his castles. These many castles caught the attention of Walt Disney as he created ‘Cinderella’s Castle’ on the inspiration of Neuschwanstein. Today you can visit the world-famous Linderhof Palace. Central Europe’s most famous and beautiful palace will be a magnificent experience. Then the legendary Neuschwanstein ‘Cinderella Castle’ will be one of your great travel experiences in the world. Your tour will explain the madness of ‘King Ludwig’. The incredible turrets of the towers were never meant for defense but rather beauty. And help cement the idea that Ludwig was gay. Later, return to Seefeld in time for dinner at the hotel.
Day 9: Munich & Oktoberfest Gay Day Sunday
Breakfast is included this morning. There are many options available today. You can participate in a full-day sightseeing optional trip to Munich. You will see the best of the Hofbrauhaus, the Olympic Park, and much of what makes this Bavarian capital one of Germany’s most beautiful cities. Today is also the first Gay Day at Oktoberfest and you can participate in those events at the Oktoberfest grounds. Your tour manager will help you with all these choices. Dinner is included tonight at the hotel.
Day 10: Munich Gay Oktoberfest
Breakfast is included this morning. Today you enjoy a trip to Oktoberfest and the famous grounds. This is the ‘World’s Fair’ of beer brewers and spectacular entertainment. Your trip will allow you to explore this amazing festival that features more than 38 festival tents, some as large as 8000 people. There is a huge variety of entertainment, parades, and lot’s of fun. This is ‘Gay Oktoberfest Monday’ and you will participate in all of the fairground events. (NOTE: your tour manager will assist you if you wish a guaranteed seating table and information will be available in June 2024.) Today will be one of the greatest experiences in the world.
Day 11: Otztal Glacier Road, Gondola, And James Bond 007
Breakfast is included this morning. A final day to explore in Seefeld or other pursuits. Or you can participate in the special optional excursion to the top of Europe. The Otztal Glacier road will take you to the top of Austria. This spectacular drive is Conde Nast Traveller’s “Top 10 scenic drive in the world.” Your guide will show you mountain peaks, inland glaciers, and more. Enjoy the world-famous Otztal Glacier Gondola which takes you to over 9000 feet (the highest in Europe). Here there is an incredible restaurant, bar, and the filming site of Daniel Craig’s movie ‘Spectre’. This will be the most scenic single day and a perfect way to end your Alpine Europe Gay Oktoberfest experience. Return to the hotel for a special farewell dinner.
Day 12: Transfer To Innsbruck Or Munich And Fly To USA

Your TRAVEL CLUB reserves the right to substitute any services of similar or equal quality. Your TRAVEL CLUB cannot be responsible for circumstances, causes, effects, weather, strikes, bankruptcy, etc., of suppliers. TRAVEL CLUB will not be liable for any damages or injury, including but not limited to, special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site, even if there is negligence or TRAVEL CLUB or an authorized TRAVEL CLUB representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or both. The above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you to the extent that applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. TRAVEL CLUB total liability to you for all losses, damages, and causes of action (in contract, tort including without limitation, negligence), or otherwise will not be greater than the amount you paid to access this site.
Termination
TRAVEL CLUB or you may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate this agreement by destroying: (a) all materials obtained from all TRAVEL CLUB sites, and (b) all related documentation and all copies and installations (together, the “Materials”). TRAVEL CLUB may terminate this agreement immediately without notice if, in its sole judgment, you breach any term or condition of this agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy all materials.
Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions will be governed and be interpreted pursuant to the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, notwithstanding any principles of conflicts of law. Except as otherwise described, all materials on this site are made available only for informational purposes. TRAVEL CLUB makes no representation that these materials are appropriate or available for use in other locations. If you use this site from other locations you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Possible evidence of use of this site for illegal purposes will be provided to law enforcement authorities.
Digital Signature Provisions
You represent and warrant that you have the legal right, power and authority to agree to the terms of this Agreement on behalf of yourself and the member, buyer or supplier participating in the Site. You further agree that your use constitutes an electronic signature as defined by the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (“E-Sign”) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (“UETA”) and that you have formed, executed, entered into, accepted the terms of and otherwise authenticated this Agreement and acknowledged and agreed that this Agreement is an electronic record for purposes of E-Sign, UETA and the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act and as such is completely valid, has legal effect, is enforceable, and is binding on, and non-refutable by you and the member, buyer or supplier on whose behalf you are acting.

This is the entire agreement between the parties relating to the use of this site. TRAVEL CLUB can revise these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating this posting. TRAVEL CLUB products and services are available in many parts of the world. However, this TRAVEL CLUB website may describe products and services that are not available worldwide.
